Stop by the Art Room, M-009, with $60 in cash or check payable to EAWR to make sure you get your own piece of EAWR history. **Juniors will be taking the Illinois Science Assessment this Wednesday, March 22nd starting at 8:15 am through academic lab in the cafeteria, M200 or M201. Room assignments were shared with juniors, faculty, and staff last week. Students must have their charged chromebook to take the test. All students currently classified as a junior are required to take the test. **Students on high honor roll 1st semester can pick up their voucher for 2 free Cardinal baseball tickets. See Mrs. Hayes in the Guidance Office. **Students: Mrs. Robinson needs 15 volunteers for the Oiler Nation Brain Boost Night for preK-8th grade families tonight from 5:45-7:15. If you are willing to volunteer please email Mrs. Robinson. **The City of Wood River is holding the annual Easter event on Saturday, April 1st. They are looking for volunteers to help with the event from 9:30am-12pm. If you would like to volunteer at this event, please sign up in the Attendance Center. **There will be a campus clean-up day at East Alton 1st UMC (across from Eastwood School) this Saturday, March 25th at 8am. Bus transportation can be available for any students who need a ride. Please contact the church at eafumc@hotmail.com. **The Village of East Alton is holding the annual Easter event on Saturday, April 1st. They are looking for volunteers to help with the event from 9:00 am- 12pm. If you would like to volunteer at this event, please sign up in the Attendance Center. The event is being held at the East Alton Keasler Center.

The oil derrick between the buildings is being placed this morning. A huge thank you to Federal Steel for painting and placing the derrick. Great job by Mr. Sitze and his welding class on putting together the structure. Also, thank you to the custodial staff and Mr. Moxey for pouring the footings.

Oiler Nation Brain Boost Night--Monday the 20th For Pre K-8th Grade Families Hosted at East Alton-Wood River High School Main Building--College and Career Center (Media Center)

Here are our results from Thursday afternoon. A big shout out to the EAWR Maintenance Staff on their phenomenal work on our varsity fields. Those fields were playable when most fields were not. We have amazing people at EAWR!

Oiler Softball improves to 2-1 on the season with today's win!

8th Grade Open House

We are dragging and lining the varsity softball and baseball fields now. Our amazing maintenance dept. has taken great care of our varsity fields and they will take water. Hillsboro has been contacted and will be making the trip as our opponents in both sports. Play ball, hopefully!!

Girls soccer is game on today as Greenville has moved the game to their turf football field. Let's go Oilers!

The round of rain that came through this morning has postponed our JV baseball game due to the wet field conditions. The maintenance crew is unable to get on the field to prepare it. Our varsity fields are much better prepared to handle rain and we will evaluate those at noon. We are working with Hillsboro and looking at dates to reschedule this game.
