**ATTENTION GAMERS! The Spring Season is quickly approaching! If you are interested in Call of Duty, Apex Legends, or Rocket League, there will be a meeting in the CCC during Academic Lab today.
**Tickets for the King's Dance will be on sale February 20th-23rd after school and during academic lab. Tickets are $10 and WILL NOT be sold at the door. Guest forms for the King's Dance are available outside of Mrs. Timmins and Mr. Daneils rooms. If a student plans to bring a guest, the form must be turned in by this Friday. Guests are considered all non-EAWR students. Rules about which guests can and can’t attend the dance are listed on the form. The dance is Saturday, February 24th from 7-10pm.
**Seniors--This Friday, February 16th is a half day and we will have a community service project. We will provide pizza for lunch and all supplies needed. This will be a great way to earn 3 hours of community service. Please sign up if you plan to attend so we know how much pizza to order. If there are questions, please see Mrs. Robinson. If you sign up please meet Mrs. Robinson in the courtyard on Friday.
**Students who qualified for Renaissance 1st semester have been notified. If you feel you should have been on the list and you did not get a letter, please contact Ms. Dixon in the Attendance Center.
**EAWR will be administering the 5 essentials survey to students during academic lab tomorrow. The student ID numbers (not the same as the school ID number) have been shared with staff and there are hard copies of the lists in both the attendance center and main office.This survey is required for all students to complete. There will be no movement/meetings tomorrow during academic lab.
**If you are interested in joining the Trap Club practice starts tomorrow at 5 pm and the season starts mid March. Please contact eawrtrapclub@gmail.com if there are questions.
**Juniors--EAWR will be offering a series of 2 SAT prep sessions for juniors to prepare for the April 10th SAT Test. Each of the 2 sessions in the series will be offered two times and juniors can sign up in the folder shared this morning by Mrs Robinson. If a junior student attends both a math and ELA session series and completes the FAFSA senior year by April 1st he/she will earn an additional semester exemption (6 absences) second semester senior year if passing.
**Attention Juniors and Seniors who applied to the National Honor Society. Notifications of acceptance have been sent out this week. Please check your school email account.
**Juniors and Seniors: Project Dream Dress out of St Louis is an organization that provides free dresses for students that need help with the cost of purchasing a dress. The dresses are used but are newer styles and come in a variety of sizes. If you would like more information about Project Dream Dress, please contact Mrs. Robinson by February 23rd.
**The Wood River Public Library is starting a High School Silent Book Club! Join Kristen on the first Wednesday of each month at 4:30pm to give book recommendations, hang out, eat snacks, then read whatever books you would like! This free event is open to all 9th-12th graders from any community! These events will begin Wednesday, March 6 at 4:30pm!
**Any senior boy or girl still needing community service hours, please contact Mrs. Ulmer at wulmer@eawr.org or stop by M103 to sign up. She has 11 bookshelves that need to be put together from 2:30-3:30 pm on 2/21 and 2/22.
**There will be an 11:25 dismissal this Friday. Grab and Go lunches will be available as you leave.
**There will be a meeting for all students interested in playing baseball in the auditorium today during academic lab. Students should get a pass from attendance to attend.

Junior Oilers Night!




King Of Hearts will be crowned at the King's Dance on Saturday, February 24th. Please vote by dropping money into your favorite candidate box. All money raised will be donated to a local charity/nonprofit.

Congratulations to the Oiler/Roxana Hockey Club on a thrilling shootout win last night over the Highland Bulldogs. The Oilers won the series 2-0. OGB's season ended last night to the #1 seed. We are proud of OGB on the strides they made this season.
