**Are you interested in acting or working in the fall production PUFFS? PUFFS is a Harry Potter spin-off comedy suited for all ages! Auditions will be next Thursday, August 31st, starting at 6pm. You can sign-up for backstage crew during this time. More information will be provided at the first drama club meeting next Monday.

Girls Tennis at Jerseyville today has been cancelled due to the excessive heat warning still in place. Boys Soccer cancelled as well and rescheduled for next Wed.
Congratulations to Neely Kinkel on being a winner of JOANN Fabrics Top Teacher Award. She received a package filled with pens, planners, label maker, laminator, scissors, etc. and a $500 gift card to JOANN Fabrics. Thank you to Carol Hayes for nominating Mrs. Kinkel.
It's the home opener of the 2023 season for Oiler Volleyball! Let's fill Memorial Gym as we host the Civic Memorial Eagles. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students and individuals 62 or over. Results from Tue: Boys soccer won with two goals from Bradley Garrison and a goal each by Malyk Spiller, Jordyn Spiller and Paul Nichols. Volleyball received pairings for bracket play. They play at 11 am Sat.
The boys golf match is cancelled today and will be in the simulator.

This event is for seniors only and it will be held in the east building courtyard from 6 to 8 PM. All seniors who participate will receive service hours and all seniors are invited. Oiler Soccer is back at it tonight in the Roxana Tournament and Volleyball will wait and see who they draw in the bracket round of the Roxana Tournament after going 2-1 last night.

We have three cancellations to announce. First, New Athens has cancelled their cross country race this evening. Next, the boys golf match is cancelled and the boys will practice in our simulator until 4 pm. Finally, the girls tennis match is cancelled and no practice tonight.
