Morning Announcements for: Tuesday, September 26, 2023 **Tomorrow is National See You at the Pole Day. All students, faculty and staff are invited to share a moment of fellowship around the flagpole outside the Memorial Gym at 7:40. **11th and 12th grade Educational Talent Search will be meeting today during Academic Lab in room A-121 **Juniors and Seniors: Reminder that the Madison County Clerk will be at school today during academic lab to meet with students who signed up. **Students: JFL is looking for volunteers this Saturday from 10:30 AM-1 PM. If interested in volunteering please sign up in the google doc shared by Mrs Robinson. **Coronation (crowning of the Queen) will be held at 7:30 pm this Saturday. This event is open to the public and all tickets must be purchased at the door for $5. Following Coronation there will be a short photo session in the East Building Courtyard. **The Homecoming Dance is this Saturday from 9-11 pm. The dance will be held in the Courtyard and students will enter through door E2. The cost for the dance is $5 paid at the door. **Note a student can choose where he/she wants to go to Coronation, the dance, or both. It is not required to go to Coronation to attend the dance or vice versa. Concessions will be sold at the dance at an additional cost. **Please check your schedule folder 23/24 for next week’s schedules. Due to homecoming games, the second coronation assembly and the half day, schedules for every day except today have been altered. **Hartford Elementary is looking for volunteers to help with their Haunted House Fall Festival on Thursday, October 12th from 5-7 PM. If you would like to volunteer please sign up in the Attendance Center. **East Alton First United Methodist Church is looking for volunteers to help construct a Haunted House for their annual community Trunk or Treat. Volunteers are needed on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays from 4:30-6:30 pm. Check your email from Mrs. Robinson for more detailed dates and time as well as contact information.

For more information, contact Ms. Mueller. **ATTENTION TECH CREW FOR PUFFS: We will have a meeting tomorrow at 10am! Please show up to discuss crew assignments, schedules, and shirt orders! If you cannot make it, please contact Ms. Goodbrake or Mrs. Norton. **Juniors and Seniors: The Madison County Clerk will be at school next Monday during academic lab to meet with students interested in the Student Ambassador Program. Any junior or senior that is at least 17 years old with a 3.0 GPA or higher please sign up today in the Google Doc sent by Mrs. Robinson to attend the meeting. **Coronation (crowning of the Queen) will be held at 7:30 pm on Saturday, September 30th. This event is open to the public and all tickets must be purchased at the door for $5.
