Seniors—stop by the Guidance Office to see the Class of 2022 display.

Dear OilerNation,
This letter is to inform you about a bomb threat that EAWR and another local HS received this afternoon approximately at 12:38pm.
Our school is committed to the safety and education of all our students. We also want to clearly communicate with parents about safety issues when they arise.
This afternoon, an anonymous phone call was made to the Wood River Police Department which indicated that a bomb had been placed on the EAWR campus and another local HS.
The entire EAWR campus was immediately placed on lockdown.
With the help of the Wood River Police Department and district personnel, the entire campus was searched and nothing was found.
The Police Department is now investigating the threat.
Classes will resume as usual.
All threats to our school or students are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. We wanted you to have the facts so you can discuss them with your child and emphasize the seriousness of this issue. If you discover anything that can assist in the investigation, please contact us immediately.
Please feel free to contact the District at 618-254-3151 if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Rob Miller, Superintendent

This is a state requirement assessment and a diploma requirement for juniors so it is very important that all 9th-11th graders are in attendance. Testing lists have been shared with all students and it is important to be on time and report directly to the testing room. There will be no early bird tomorrow and there will be different dismissal times for each grade level. Please remember to bring number 2 pencils and a calculator.
