Oiler Nation Day at the Ballpark is Friday afternoon!! We will have free giveaways, hot dogs, and water. First come, first serve on the giveaways. First pitch is at 4:30 but we will be grilling at 2:45 and food will be ready by 3:30. Let's go Oilers!


Congratulations to Mary Nguyen and Mia Seibert on being recognized at the Illinois Principal Association Recognition Breakfast.

**Prom will be held this Saturday, April 29th at Lewis and Clark Community College. Doors will open at 6:30 and dinner will be from 7pm-8pm. Dancing is from 8-11. We will begin the coronation ceremony at 10 where we will crown the prom king and queen. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
**After Prom Guidelines–Edison’s-Edwardsville
1. Everyone must arrive between 11:30-12:15 am. No one may leave before 1:15 am without parent contact. After Prom ends at 2:15 am.
2. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from Edison’s.
3. Approved guests must arrive with EAWR student.
4. No tickets sold at the door.
5. If anyone is believed to be under the influence, parents/police will be notified.
6. Students must stay in designated areas.
7. After Prom is a parent sponsored event.
**Seniors: If you have received a scholarship that will not be presented at the Senior Assembly on Wednesday, May 3rd, please stop by the Attendance Center and give the information to Mrs. Dixon so it can be read at the assembly. Also, if you are joining the military after graduation, please give that information to Mrs. Dixon. Only information reported will be read at the Senior Assembly.
**Seniors: Any senior who knows where they are going to school or have signed up for the military please come to the main office so Mrs. Robinson can take your picture for senior spotlights.
**The Wood River-Hartford School District is holding a 5K Run/Walk this Saturday, April 29th and they are looking for volunteers. Volunteers would need to arrive at Lewis and Clark Junior High at 7:30 am and would be done around 10 am. Volunteers will help participants on the race route and also some will be stationed at the children's "Fun Run". If you are interested in volunteering please sign up in the Attendance Center.
**Seniors--Mrs Robinson has added the obligations for lunch and business office to the senior semester exemption spreadsheet. Please be sure to clear all obligations by 3 pm on May 3rd to be exempted from finals. She will continue to update the list daily.
**The senior exemption list for FAFSA and attendance has been shared. Seniors who completed FAFSA must have 6 or few absences to be exempt and also have a passing grade in the class. We will update the list daily. If you feel like there is an error and you should be on the list, see Mr. Gockel or Mrs. Robinson.
**It is National Prevention Week and Peer Leadership is sponsoring daily activities during each lunch hour including bingo, trivia and a pledge to be drug free. Let's also show our support by the colors we wear:
Tomorrow wear teal and purple for suicide prevention.
**There will be a football meeting in the CCC tomorrow during Academic lab. We will talk about the summer schedule and expectations for the summer and fall during the meeting. It is important that you come to this meeting if you are planning on playing this fall. Please obtain a pass from Coach Herron in E112 for the meeting.
**The school newspaper wants to feature our seniors in our May edition. Mrs. Robinson has sent out Google forms so please check your email.
Seniors: a picture from your freshman year and then a recent one from your senior year! These can be school pics or just a personal pic. Please only include pictures of yourself in your submission (no group shots). Underclassmen: Senior shout outs!
These are due May 1st.

It's a Sunday matinee performance of Seussical the Musical!


Here is our schedule for the week of Apr. 24-29. Oiler Nation Day at the Ballpark is Friday and we have lots of free giveaways for kids, along with free hot dogs, and water. A concession stand will also be open for other items at each field.




Fantastic job by everyone involved in the production of Seussical the Musical. There will be a matinee performance tomorrow, Sunday,at 2 PM.







Congratulations to our Sectional Champions in Super Smash Bros Crew Battle. They will compete in the IHSA State Finals next weekend!


EAWR Thespian Troupe 733 presents Seussical The Musical and has two shows left. Tonight, Saturday the 22nd at 7 pm and a Sunday Matinee at 2 Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students and children.
Come out and see the talented students from EAWR.
