Here is our schedule for today along with the results from Wednesday's contests.




**Senior Spotlight**
--Brayden Elledge will be attending Illinois State University
--Jadyn Watson will be attending Lewis and Clark Community College
--Koen Miller will be attending Southern Illinois University Edwardsville

The Big Sisters Easter Egg Hunt was tonight and over two dozen students from the feeder districts attended. They enjoyed a coloring activity, got to meet and take pictures with the Easter Bunny, and hunted for candy-filled eggs.




The March Edition of The Oiler Times is now available for 50 cents. If interested in purchasing a copy please contact Ms Arment.


The Guidance Department is pairing with Centerstone to provide a workshop for parents to discuss online safety. Please reserve your spot asap.


Today was our last freshman mentor meeting and the freshman wrote letters to their senior selves. They will receive these letters on graduation four years from now. Thank you to the senior mentors for all the work and dedication this year. We truly appreciate their leadership this school year.

Wednesday, April 9
Seniors: Please follow the link sent by Mrs. Robinson for Senior Spotlight. We will begin to take pictures today and will continue every morning for the next few weeks highlighting on social media what you plan to do after graduation.
**Prom guest forms are available outside of Mrs. Timmins and Mr. Marshall’s rooms. A guest form must be completed for anyone who is not an EAWR junior or senior including EAWR underclass students that are invited by a junior or senior. Rules for guests are on the form. Guest forms are due back April 17th.
**Prom tickets are $35 each and will be sold April 14th-17th.
**After Prom tickets will be sold through tomorrow in the cafeteria during lunch hours. After Prom is a parent sponsored event and will be held at the Wood River Recreation Center on April 26th from 11:30 pm-2:30 am. After prom tickets are $5 each. Junior and senior EAWR students must buy tickets for their guests. Rules for guests are the same as prom. 
**The City of Wood River is sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday and they need volunteers to help from 9:30 am-12:30 pm. If you are available to volunteer please sign up in the Attendance Center and go to the park next to the Roundhouse by 9:30 am Saturday. Also, if there are any questions about Saturday’s event, you can contact the supervisor at this number 618-781-2831.
**Lewis and Clark is looking for volunteers to help with their Spring Fling this Friday from 3-7 pm at Lewis and Clark Elementary School. If you are interested in volunteering please sign up in the Attendance Center.
**The village of East Alton is sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday and they need volunteers to help from 9:30-Noon. If you are available to volunteer please sign up in the Attendance Center and go to the Keasler Center at 9:30 am on the 12th.
**The last freshmen mentor meeting will be today during academic lab. Students shouldn't leave the room during academic lab unless they are a mentor or a freshman.
**Seniors: Please vote up to 5 queen candidates and 5 king candidates for prom by using the link sent by Mrs Robinson. Voting ends at 11:15 am on Friday.

**ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Are you interested in working technical positions and backstage crew for the spring production of The SpongeBob Musical? There will be a meeting for all students interested today after school in the auditorium.

Oilers vs. Hazelwood East


Softball today at home vs. Gibault is cancelled due to wet field conditions.
Baseball at Jerseyville is on as scheduled.

Here is our schedule for Mon, Apr. 7. The track & field meet at Father McGivney has already been cancelled due to standing water in their field event areas on on their infield of the track. Baseball & softball is "iffy" today.
It should be a good day for soccer at home though!

Here is the athletic bulletin for this coming week. There was a track meet at Father McGivney scheduled for Monday but that has been cancelled. Softball & Baseball games scheduled for Monday are improbable due to wet field conditions but we will look at that tomorrow.


Thank you to Mrs. Kinkel and Mrs. Sharpmack for putting on another successful community event today. Also a big thank you to all the student volunteers that helped today.
