
EAWR Student Council is sponsoring this year's food drive--Lock Out Hunger. The drive starts on Monday, November 20th and ends on Wednesday, December 6th. Fill each locker with specific items to earn a prize drawing. Please see the flyer for additional information regarding the drive and prizes.



Congratulations to our Varsity Boys Bowling team on their victory yesterday over the Roxana Shells.
This afternoon, Boys Bowling has a home match at Airport Bowl with Columbia. The match will begin at 3:00 pm.
Tonight, Oilers Girls Basketball will play Marissa in the semi-finals of the Dupo Cat Classic. Tip time is scheduled for 7:30 pm at Dupo High School.

**Coach Colona is looking for volunteers to help with the Great River Road Run on Saturday, November 26, from 8am to noon. If interested please contact Coach Colona at the email address sent to you by Mrs. Robinson.
**All orders for cap and gown and other senior items are due today during the lunch hours. Jostens is asking for a $60 deposit if ordering additional items. They will accept cash, card, or a check. Checks should be made payable to Jostens.
**Juniors and seniors are selling Cardinal Calendar as a fundraiser for After Prom. Calendars are $17 each and orders and money needs to be turned into the Attendance Center by Friday. Checks can be made payable to EAWR After Prom.
**This year's Fall Play "Puffs" will be held this Friday and Saturday at 7pm, and Sunday at 2pm in the Auditorium. The tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for K-12 students and children under 5 are free. Tickets may be purchased at the door and doors will open 30 minutes before showtime.
**Don't forget to reserve your yearbook! You can order it now for $50 before the price goes up to $60 beginning January 1--just bring $50 (cash or check payable to EAWR) to the Art Room, M-009. You can also order your yearbook online using the link on our school's homepage.

**The Winter Season Esports meeting has been moved to Monday during Academic lab in the CCC. We’re playing Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Fortnite, and Overwatch 2. If you are interested in playing competitive Esports for EAWR, make sure to attend.
**EAWR has partnered with Toys for Tots. Donation boxes are outside of the attendance center if you would like to donate a toy for a child.
**Students can purchase a winter athletic pass from the Attendance Center for $5. This pass will allow an EAWR student into all winter home games for $5 (basketball/wrestling) except for IHSA contests. All winter athletes and band members get into winter events for free.
**If you would like to take home a sack lunch next Tuesday, November 21st on the 11:25 am dismissal day please complete the attached survey and mark yes. If you don't want to take home a sack lunch please disregard the survey. We will start providing take home lunches on half days but need to have an approximate count on how many lunches to make. This form needs to be completed by Friday at 8 am if you would like a sack lunch next Tuesday.

On Friday 11/10/23, students from Physics, Chem 2, Pre-Calc, and Calculus were invited by the SIUE School of Engineering to preview a pilot program for high school students. Students toured the campus, a variety of labs, and were challenged to a soldering project to make a functioning siren.
