**EAWR is proud to partner with KSDK’s Tackle Hunger campaign at next Friday’s Homecoming Football Game! Bins will be delivered to campus for us to fill with canned goods, cereal, and other non-perishable items. We’ll be competing against Breese Central to see who can collect the most donations. KSDK will be on site next week and during the game to capture photos and video of the event. Let’s fill those bins to the top and show everyone how OilerNation supports our community!
**All school pictures are scheduled for this Monday, September 22nd. Students should have received an order form in their first hour class this week but if a student needs an additional form please stop by the Main Office. Seniors can submit a different picture for the yearbook but still need to get their picture taken by Lifetouch to be included on the 2026 class composite picture.
**The sophomore class ring assembly is Tuesday, September 23rd during academic lab. All sophomores will receive a class ring packet at the assembly. If a sophomore can't attend please see Mrs. Dixon from the guidance office following the assembly for an order packet.
**The senior cap and gown assembly is Wednesday, September 24th during academic lab in the auditorium. All seniors need to attend. If a senior can't attend please see Mrs. Dixon from the guidance office following the assembly for an order packet.
**Coronation (crowning of the Queen) will be held at 7:30 pm on Saturday, October 4th. This event is open to the public and all tickets must be purchased at the door for $5. Following Coronation there will be a short photo session in the East Building Courtyard.
**The Homecoming Dance is Saturday, October 4th from 9-11 pm. Approved guests may attend but guest forms are due by September 26th. Rules about who can and can't attend the dance are on the form. The dance will be held in the Courtyard and students will enter and through the EVOLV system at door E2. The cost for the dance is $5 paid at the door and snacks/drinks can be purchased for an additional charge. Note a student can choose where he/she wants to go to Coronation, the dance, or both. It is not required to go to Coronation to attend the dance or vice versa.
