Monday, May 13, 2024 **Reminder that if you signed up to work at the Hartford Elementary Spring Fling it is today from 3:15-6:45 pm at Hartford Elementary School. **Juniors--If you are interested in joining Spirit Club your senior year please sign up in the document that Mrs. Robinson shared. We will start having meetings at the end of July or beginning of August to start planning for the year so please check your email over the summer. **The semester exemption list is being updated daily. **Underclass finals are Friday, May 17th and Monday, May 20th. Information about finals was shared by Mrs. Guthrie through Google Drive. **Summer school begins May 28th and forms are now available in the guidance office. Please see your guidance counselor for a form. **Anyone who has their permit and would like to take Behind the Wheel over the summer, please email Mr. Forsting or stop by his classroom, E204, during Academic Lab. There are three instructors over the summer and most schedules can be accommodated. Behind the Wheel Instruction is required to obtain your license. We can even arrange to pick you up from your home and drop you off after, if transportation is a concern.

These passes allow you to ride from Memorial Day through Labor Day! **Students on the high honor roll for 1st semester can pick up a voucher for 2 free Cardinal baseball tickets from Mrs. Hayes in the Guidance Office. **Hartford Elementary is looking for volunteers to help with their Spring Fling on Monday, May 13th from 3:15-6:45 pm at Hartford Elementary School. Senior Graduation Information--Wednesday, May 8, 2024 Graduation Practice 9:00 am in Memorial Gym--Attendance is required Graduation tickets will be distributed to seniors at practice. Tickets are required to enter the graduation ceremony. Graduation is at 7:30 pm and doors to the gym will open at 7 pm Graduates need to line up in the Auditorium at 6:45 pm. This is a formal ceremony--students should wear dress clothes/dress shoes--no jeans or shorts

Varsity softball, varsity baseball, and jv baseball is cancelled today. We will make up the softball game on Friday at Columbia. The baseball teams will host Southwestern on Friday. JV at Vanprater for their season finale and varsity at Norris Dorsey Field on campus.

Senior Graduation Reminders -Graduation May 8th-7:30pm -Graduation Practice-9am Wed morning--attendance is required -Tickets are required for entry-graduates will receive tickets at practice -Doors for graduation will open at 7pm--handicapped seating will be available on the east side of the floor -Graduates report to auditorium at 6:45pm on Wednesday-this is a formal ceremony students should wear dress clothes/dress shoes--no jeans or shorts-caps are not to be decorated and only school issued items can be worn (Dist Grad Pins, NHS pins, Silver Medallions) -Graduation will be live streamed on www.riverbender.com

Friday, May 3, 2024 **Free summer Youth Passes from Madison County Transit are now available in the Attendance Center. These passes allow you to ride from Memorial Day through Labor Day! **Today is the last day to stop by the table in the courtyard to write a thank you card for any faculty or staff member. You can write as many as you like and they will be delivered next week. **Just a reminder that this semester's exemption policy is 4 or fewer absences, no unexcused and 4 or fewer tardies. Students earned 2 additional tardies and 1 additional day because of the lock out hunger. Renaissance still follows the 3 days absence and 2 tardies. **Students on the high honor roll for 1st semester can pick up a voucher for 2 free Cardinal baseball tickets from Mrs. Hayes in the Guidance Office. **Senior computers must be checked in today after finals. If you get to keep your computer, you must still at least check it in to have the school information taken off the computer, so at some point this week all seniors need to bring their computer to the CCC. **Hartford Elementary is looking for volunteers to help with their Spring Fling on Monday, May 13th from 3:15-6:45 pm at Hartford Elementary School. Monday's theme is "wear a positive message and/or mental health related item". Feel free to come to the Guidance Office to show us your support & get a small treat. **Today is School Lunch Lady Hero Day! This is a national program that recognizes School Nutrition Professionals for the amazing work they do to ensure every student is well fed.
