Incoming 9th Grade Parents
—EAWR is offering small group meetings for incoming freshman parents through our Parent Outreach Program. If interested in signing up for a meeting please contact Mrs. Guthrie by phone or email Mrs. Robinson. All contact information and details are in the attached letter that was sent to freshmen homes.

The time is now to register your high school student for fall sports. Doing this now allows the athletic dept. to look at who we have physicals for and proactively reach out to parents so their child can participate on day one of official practices. Let us help you. Our first varsity football home game will be a very special night! All current and former members of the military and their immediate families will receive free admission. We are planning a fantastic pregame ceremony that you won't want to miss.
We are working closely with Riverbend Patriots in the planning of this event. Riverbend Patriots is a local non for profit that helps local veterans, current service members, first responders and their families.
Our new tennis/pickleball court lights went up this morning and Memorial Gym is glistening with a fresh coat of wax. Other facility upgrades around campus are in progress and photos will be posted as those projects are completed. Exciting things are happening all around campus!

Fall sports registration is open on the school website. Students must register and parents should double check that we have a current physical on file. Physicals are only good for 390 days. Most fall athletes have expired or soon to be expiring physicals. Don't get left on the sidelines come the official start of the season.

SIHF is doing walk in school physicals every Wednesday throughout the summer. EAWR will also hold a sports physical event on Thursday, August 1. The time will likely be from 10 am until 2 pm but more details will be forthcoming.
