  • Jayden Ulrich - 4th in State!! Congrats to Jayden Ulrich on her 4th Place finish at the Class 2A IHSA Girls State Track & Field  Championships, held at Eastern Illinois University.   • Jacob Martin Signs with Missouri Baptist! Senior Jacob Martin signed a letter of intent last Monday (April 30th) to play Men's Volleyball next year at Missouri Baptist University, in front of an assembly in the Auditorium, viewed by most of his classmates. Jake's parents were on hand to witness the signing. Congrats to Jake on this great accomplishment and good luck in your college career!

  • TJ Lawson Signs with Missouri Baptist University TJ Lawson signed a letter of intent to enroll at Missouri Baptist University. He will run track at Missouri Baptist. TJ is a multi-sport letter winner and has been a key member of the last two football playoff teams, as well as all conference in track and football. His best event is the 200M sprint and other sprint races.    Congrats to TJ and best wishes!

  • Dave Tedford and his Giant Unicycle EAWR Alumnus Dave Tedford (Class of 1980) rose above his classmates in the most literal sense: Responding to a “senior project” requirement and with the help of former teachers Keith Atkinson and James Brann, Dave created a 14-foot tall unicycle! Not only was this an impressive display of machining and welding, Dave actually rode this unicycle and rode it regularly until his late-40’s. This unicycle was so impressive, that Dave was featured in a Telegraph article in 1980 with some photos showing him riding it in Eastgate Plaza.
