Jake Erslon signed his Letter of Intent Intent on Monday with Lindenwood University-Belleville, to continue his Wrestling career with the Lynx. He was introduced by Mr. Gockel, who recognized those on the dais. Jake gave some prepared remarks, thanking his parents, students, and coaches for his success in high school wrestling. Coach Tim Donohoo noted his superb accomplishments in his wrestling career at EAWR, reminding those in attendance of his 4th Place finish in the IHSA State Wrestling Final. Lastly, the Asst. Wrestling Coach from Lindenwood publicly welcomed Jake into the Lynx program and talked about how lucky they were to have him.
Some candid photos from the signing ... Good Luck, Jake! .

The Oiler Girls Basketball Team had a very successful Candy Cane Classic tournament run last week, with two wins (Valmeyer and Waterloo) and a loss in the championship game to Columbia. Aubrey Robinson was one of only five players in the entire eight-team tournament field to make the All-Tournament Team.
Congrats to Head Coach Joe Parmentier on picking up his 300th career win with the win Thursday night, beating Waterloo!
