**There are only a few openings left to give blood during the Student Council Blood Drive.  If you are interested, see Mrs. Timmins as soon as possible!


**Seniors:  If you have received an award, scholarship, or special recognition from a college, or signed up for military service after graduation, please stop by the Attendance Center and give this information to Mrs. Hawkins. 


**Christians in Action will meet during Academic Lab in Ms. Mueller’s room, E122, after school today.  Anyone is welcome to attend.


**The EAWR Custodial Scholarship, Wood River Howard Oetting Scholarship, Otto Rice Wood River Park and Recreation Scholarship and the Scott King Scholarships are due to Mrs. Woodman today.


**Tomorrow, we will be having a workday at the school starting at 2:40.  We will be raking leaves, knocking down a cinder wall, and general clean up.  Please bring work clothes to change in to after school as some of the activities you may get dirty.  Sign up in the Attendance Center if you want to participate.


**The library is now taking names and dates for the May Birthday Board.  Cost is .25 cents and you receive a few special treats.  See Ms. Budde to sign up.


**If you would like to volunteer to work at Hartford’s Day Camp June 22-26th, you can pick up an application in the Main Office or Attendance Center.  Deadline is May 1st


**Attention all students that were invited to join the International Thespian Society:  There will be an important meeting today after school in Mrs. Ledford’s room.  Please contact her if you are unable to attend.  Induction and officers will be discussed.


**Friday will be blue shirt day to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation.  You can purchase your sticker during lunch or before/after school from Mrs. Timmins or Mr. Daniels.  Stickers are $1 and must be purchased in order to wear a blue shirt.


**Seniors - Please be checking your email.  Any new individual scholarships that come through Guidance are now being pushed out to your email account.  


**Summer school forms are available from the Guidance Office. Please see your counselor to pick up a form.  We will be offering credit recovery for Geometry, Algebra Physical Science, and English.  Summer school is free for all EAWR students and it starts on Monday, June 1st.


**Seniors - Your deadline to return library books and pay fines is Friday, May 8


**Any student wanting to play football in the fall needs to meet in Room E-110, the room next to ISS, during Academic Lab today.


**There will be wrestling open gyms each Tuesday and Thursday from 3-5:30 in the lower gym.  This is an open gym/open mat, so everyone is welcome to attend voluntarily.
