**Student council is still selling homecoming shirts this week for 10 dollars. Shirts can be bought from Mrs. Timmins in room E207 before school, during academic lab or after school.

**Coronation, crowning of the Harvest Queen, is at 7:30 pm this Saturday in the Memorial Gym.  Coronation tickets can be bought in the Attendance Center through Friday for $4 or at the door the night of Coronation for $5.  There is a dance following Coronation that is held in the Courtyard from 9-11 pm and tickets for that are $5 each and can only be purchased at the door.  Students can choose to go to both or just one of them.  Please remember that this is a high school dance so dancing must be appropriate and if there is an issue school consequences will be assigned.  Also remember dresses/skirts must be fingertip in length and school clothes or better.

**There will be representatives from the following colleges on campus:

St. Louis College of Pharmacy, October 5th

Junior and senior students interested in meeting with any of these representatives need to see their Guidance Counselor.

**Students: Breast cancer awareness t-shirts can be ordered until October 4.  Shirts are $8 and an additional $5 if you want your name and a number on the back. Payment is due at the time of order.  Please see a coach or club sponsor if interested.  Thanks for your support.

**Banned Books Week is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read.  Banned books week brings together the entire book community in shared support of the freedom to seek and express ideas, even those some consider unorthodox or unpopular. This week EAWR is joining in on the celebration with posters, flyers, displays and activities throughout campus.  This week, stop outside Mrs. Timmins room to guess the book in a jar. If you can guess the book, you will be entered in a drawing for a prize.

**The soccer team will be playing on the football field Monday, October 2nd against CM. The JV game will start at 4:30 and varsity will start around 600.  Following the varsity soccer game we will have our annual bonfire hosted by student council and spirit club.  The bonfire will start around 7:45 and is open to all EAWR Students.  There will be soda, popcorn, and games at the bonfire and it will end at 9:30.
