**Student Council is hosting a blood drive on November 7th during the school day. Anyone 16 or older who would like to donate, should see Mrs. Timmins for an appointment. All who attempt to donate will receive a t-shirt.

**Lovejoy United Presbyterian Church in Wood River is looking for volunteers to help with their Fall Festival tomorrow from 2-5 pm. If you’d like to volunteer please see the flyer in your email for additional information.


**Juniors and Seniors:  There will be an open house at Paul Mitchell School in St. Louis next Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 6-8 p.m.  For more information, please stop by Guidance.


**Seniors:  Western Illinois University is currently waiving their application fee through this Sunday, October 27th.  Please consider Western Illinois, especially if you are interested in a criminal justice program. For more information, please see your counselor.


**Any girl interested in playing indoor soccer and plans to play in the spring sign up in Mr. Lawson’s room.  The indoor season starts after Christmas.


**There will be a campus clean up today from noon-2 pm for all EAWR students.  If you are interested in volunteering please meet in the courtyard at noon and check in with Ms Bense.  Remember today is an early dismissal day for students at 11:25 am.


**There will be an informational meeting after school on Tuesday, October 29th in Mrs. Miller's room, E224, for anyone interested in participating in Scholar Bowl. 


**There will be a final wrestling meeting in the wrestling room and a softball meeting in the Memorial Gym on Tuesday. Please add your name to one of the documents Mr. Beatty shared with you if you plan on wrestling or playing softball this season.  A pass will be sent to remind you on Tuesday morning.


**Reminder that we do not allow students to have food deliveries from anyone during the day.  Any deliveries made to the school for a student will be refused. You must bring a sack lunch in the morning or eat in the cafeteria.  


**Next week we will be hosting the volleyball regional tournament.  The charge for entry is $5 and no passes will be accepted. Everyone must pay the $5 entry fee, even if you are a fall athlete.  


**Student Council is hosting a pumpkin painting contest. The pumpkins will be painted after school Wed. October 30th, and will be displayed on the 31st in order for students to vote. A pumpkin and painting supplies will be provided for all participants and there will be a prize for the winner. If you would like to participate you can sign up in the main office or the attendance center. You must sign up by the end of the day on Tuesday the 29th.
