**SENIORS: If you are interested in attending LCCC this summer or fall, please stop by the Guidance Office before this Thursday.  Our Early Bird Registration date is scheduled for Thursday, April 2nd. When you sign up, please pick up an informational sheet and fill out a request of transcript. If you have any further questions, please see Mrs. Vambaketes.   

**Seniors- Volunteers are needed for Parent/Teacher conferences on March 18th from 5pm to 8pm and March 19th from 5pm to 8pm. Please sign up in the Attendance office with Mrs. Floyd. Reminder.. this will count towards service hours.

**Students:  Check your email if you would like to participate in class color day on Friday during March Madness spirit week. Orders are due tomorrow and must be ordered on the google doc was sent to you by Mrs. Robinson.  Money is to be paid to Jenna Lang.   

**Hartford Elementary is hosting a quarter auction fundraiser at the Wood River Roundhouse on Saturday, March 21st. They are looking for volunteers to sell refreshments, collect quarters, clean up, etc. Doors will open at 6 pm and the event should be over around 9:30 pm.  Seniors if you would like to sign up please stop by the Attendance Center.

**Student council is hosting its spring blood drive Wednesday. If you would like to make an appointment, please email or see Mrs. Timmins or Mr. Daniels.

**University of Illinois, Springfield will be here on March 16th.  Interested college bound juniors and seniors that would like to meet with this representative need to see their guidance counselor.

**The Oilers would like to invite any 5th-12th grade boys or girls in the Wood River/Hartford/Roxana/East Alton school districts who have interest in playing hockey to come to a free skate this Saturday from 4:15-5:15 at East Alton Ice Arena.  Skates are available or you can bring your own!

**Office Workers will have their picture taken for the yearbook today during academic lab in the courtyard.  This includes first and second semester office workers.  

**The Wood River Public Library would like your input in creating teen friendly spaces and events.  Check your email for more details.

**There will be a meeting in the auditorium tomorrow during Academic Lab for all spring sport athletes.

 

**Quincy University will be here on March 9th and University of Illinois, Springfield on March 16th.  Interested college bound juniors and seniors that would like to meet with these representatives need to see their guidance counselor.  

 

**Cheerleading try-outs for next year will be held March 11th, 12th and 13th at 7pm in the Aud Gym.  There will also be a quick, mandatory meeting after school today in Mr. Beachum’s room M104.

 

**Attention Seniors who are planning to enroll next fall in a two or four year college or university within courses including but not limited to fire science, fire investigation, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), paramedic, law enforcement, criminal justice, or nursing OR a senior who is the child of a first responder enrolled or planning to enroll in the next scheduled semester of a two or four year accredited college, university, or trade/vocational school.  The applications for the Jake Ringering Memorial Scholarship are now available in the Guidance Office. The completed paper application, along with the required attachments should be sent/returned by Wednesday, April 8th, 2020 to Mrs. Zipprich in E117. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Zipprich.

**Attention current members and new inductees of the National Honor Society: We will have a MANDATORY rehearsal tomorrow, March 5th, in the courtyard during 6th hour.  Please check into your 6th hour class first for attendance.

**Vote for your favorite King of Hearts by donating money into his box in the East Building courtyard through 11:15am today!  

 

**The King's Dance will be held tomorrow from 7pm-10pm in the courtyard. Today is your last chance to get tickets from Mrs. Timmins or Mr. Daniels during Academic Lab or after school.  No tickets will be sold at the door.

 

**Seniors:  Please remember that the Lewis and Clark Community College Scholarship is due tomorrow.

**Vote for your favorite King of Hearts by donating money into his box in the East Building courtyard through tomorrow at 11:15am!  All money raised will be donated to Mrs. Lori Zenker and the King will be crowned this Saturday at the King’s Dance. So bring your change, cash, or checks and vote today!

 

**The King's Dance will be held this Saturday from 7pm-10pm in the courtyard. Tickets will be on sale this week for $10 each during Academic Lab and after school from Mrs. Timmins or Mr. Daniels.  No tickets will be sold at the door.
